Privacy
Follow one dictation.
Foxeko does not retain audio or transcripts on its servers. The request is forwarded, the text comes back to your device, and the server keeps a usage counter.

HTTPS to the Foxeko proxy
The browser or the desktop app sends the audio to the Foxeko proxy over TLS. The proxy holds the API credential so it never ships inside the app.

Transcribe, then discard
The proxy forwards the audio for transcription and does not write the audio or the transcript into its database. Foxeko does not retain audio or transcripts after the response is sent.

Text on your device
The transcript and the cleaned text return to the browser or the desktop app. Notes live in that browser. The server records seconds of audio and a request count for the device, not the words.
What the server does keep
- A hash of the device token, not the token itself.
- Monthly seconds and request counts, so usage can be shown as a stat.
- If you create an account, the email on that account and the settings you choose to sync. The shipping web app does not upload dictation text.
Choose a processing region
A workspace can choose Europe / UK or US processing. Europe and the UK are processed in London, on Cloud Run in europe-west2, with the account database on Cloud SQL in that same region. The US choice uses a US region. Neither region retains audio or transcripts.
Europe and UK processing runs in London. London is in the UK, not the EU.
US processing uses a US region.
Zero retention
Zero retention of audio and transcripts. The proxy forwards the audio, returns the text, and does not keep either one.
Encryption
Encryption in transit and at rest. Audio travels over TLS. Account data that is stored is encrypted at rest.
No training
No training on customer data. Audio and transcripts are not used to train models.
Deletion
Customer-managed deletion. You delete notes in the browser. Write to admin@foxeko.com to delete an account.
Agreements
A data processing agreement and a BAA are available for Enterprise on request. An agreement is not a certification.
Audit logs
Audit logs for Enterprise. An Enterprise workspace can request a record of account and admin actions.
What we do not claim
We do not hold HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001. A data processing agreement or a BAA, when one is issued for Enterprise on request, is a contract. It is not a statement that we hold those certifications. Using Foxeko in a clinic does not make the deployment compliant.
Screen context is off until you turn it on. Foxeko is not a medical device and does not diagnose.
Your account
Foxeko is a dictation product. If you use the browser without an account, we process the audio to return text and we do not keep that audio or that text on the server. If you sign in, we store the account email and the preferences the app syncs. You can stop using the product at any time. To ask for account deletion, write to admin@foxeko.com.
